I don't think that is strange at all. I actually think it is pretty cool that your friends accept you to for who you are. I have some friends I am open with about that kind of thing...and I love being able to have that honesty in a friendship. I have others friends who i just don't discuss it with. I know it wouldn't fit their comfort level.
