like huntersgirl, my gf of 4 months and I average 2-3 times a day, but we can usually only see each other about 3 days a week. We have a date in about 2 hours! Yippee!

My last gf and I were together about 2.5 years, and we too got it down to about once a day, but we were able to see each other more days a week. The sex with her just kept getting better and better, but wasn't enough to keep us together.

I'd say quality counts over quantity.
