I have a split BBQ grill on side and flat steel on other,found letting it get good and hot fisrt so you can clean good then with a clean wet bunch of papertowels wash it quick also a ball of aluminum foil works good for cleaning
I like putting a little oil on a towel pref olive and give grills a quick coat,your food will not stick and it actually adds a little flavor towhat ever your cooking
