1) I am pixie-posting from my blackberry as we ride out of town to visit my very recently widowed father-in-law; it's been 2 wks since we lost my mother-in-law.

2) This birthday "weekend" that began with my actual day on Friday, while not extravagant, has actually been pretty nice.

3) So far, turning THIRTY hasn't been all that bad.
