Hello Spring
 HELLO SPRING!
(at least for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere)
Earth's been turned,
Seeds been planted,
Fertilizer applied,
And I'm delighted.
Winter was long,
Depressing sometimes,
Now that's all gone,
With the bright sunshine.
Get out the kites,
Turn on the grill,
Burgers a fryin',
Time for some swill.
It's a great time of year,
Born all anew,
And I'm hoping it's a good one,
For me ... and for you! |
