I too had tax issues for the first time, I did not realize that you can not count a 17 year old in the child tax credit which meant 1,000 more I owed. Not part of my original plan so we too had to give up the little savings we had and pay it in taxes.

I am going to a special dinner/premier tonight.

My kids are almost grown and I wasn't ready for it yet.
