In response to the education system, I don't think it's really fair to generalize it or college students in that way, when there are many of us out there who have high GPA's and have always taken pride in their education-and by that I mean going beyond what's taught in the classroom and having a desire to learn more. I am a knowledge junkie! It's very true that what's being taught is going downhill fast, but teachers and parents also need to motivate children to use the resources that are out there today to broaden their education and make learning fun. So many schools today are only teaching what is required to pass a high school graduation test, which I don't think is necessarily the way to go. While I am not offended and hope I don't offend by saying this, I am disappointed that we get labeled this way and are misrepresented to other nations. Yes, there are a lot of kids out there lacking a broad education, but don't let them represent the American youth as a whole.
