1. Like PF, I am not leaving the house today...started planning that when I heard the weather report yesterday morning. Ten inches of new snow (on top of the old) sure does look pretty...from between the slats of the window blinds.

3. I just wish the inside of my house were as peaceful as the outside...darn snow days and bored children.

4. A friend I've gotten close to in the last several months (even camping out for a week with her and her two sons at the Red Cross shelter) is moving on Tuesday out of state. It's a good move for her--she's had it pretty rough the last year or so--but the kids and I are already missing them.
