“Soylent Green” is a science fiction movie starring, among others, Charlton Heston, and in his last role, Edward G. Robinson. It is based on a novel about overpopulation in a world of dwindling finite resources “Make Room! Make Room!”, by Harry Harrison. I do not remember any references in the book to the product in the title of the movie. I could be wrong though, as it has been many moons since I last read it, although it was, as best as I recall, a good read.
