i'm confused. were they there as standby, or were they told to march in the parade? i’m thinking it was as standby, in which case, you’re there in a professional capacity so just do your job without the judgements. but in either case, no-one deserves to be harassed the way the complaint says they were. but the complaint is weird too. the only way an employer can be liable for non-employee to employee harassment is if the employer knew there’d be harassment. i guess, like they said, the firefighters were making their own statement with the complaint, but it’s not the fault of their superiors that they were harassed that way, and they are wasting resources on their little “that’s not fair” bitch session.

which brings me to my last thought. i think the gay pride parade is a bunch of crap. talk about “that’s not fair” whiners. every year some other obscene act that happened at the parade gets reported. i'm sure it's no secret that i support equal rights but some in the gay community use this parade as this sort of in-your-face sexual display. what’s the point, iask? why TRY to offend? it sets you apart in a bad way, numbnuts. and since when is being gay just about sex, anyway? a little modesty goes a long way, no matter who you are, and you don’t get leave to act like an ass just because you’ve been the victim of discrimination.
