Thanks, people! We had a great day. Spent morning at coffee with friends; went to a midday show (Fantastic 4); stopped at a park where we saw a doe standing by the road (got a picture if it came out); then, out to dinner, and, finally an evening at home. Weather was beautiful. Simply couldn't have asked for a much nicer day.

Today, weather permitting (there's a chance of rain), I'm in a parade for an "Old Settler's Day" celebration at a town called Metamora. Then, on Sunday, we're headed up to Joliet, Illinois (about 40m from Chicago) to attend the baptism of our nieces baby. Never an idle moment it seems.
