It's time for me to get going. I'm heading out to visit my parents in California for the next three weeks. Haven't seen them in four years and I'm very, very excited and can't wait to get there later on today.
Don't believe I'll be visiting Pixies on their computer so you won't be seeing me around until I get back home. Who knows, maybe I'll run into Emily Deschanel on a beach out there, fall madly in love and the next you'll see of me is in the gossip rags.
Hey, I've been planning this trip for about six months now........ things like that are bound to creep into this pea brain of mine every now and again.
Hopefully there will be health and happiness for you all while I'm gone. And when I return I'm sure I'll be smiling because the Cubs will be in first place by then................ won't they?
I'm sure I'll be smiling for many other reasons as well. Most notably due to the fact that I'll also be making a little side trip before I head back home.
And hey, just in case you don't see me here at Pixies......... if you see a skinny, bald guy, with a bit of white in his goatee and a huge smile on his face and a look of complete bewilderment in his eyes standing arm in arm with the aforementioned Ms. Deschanel in the gossip rags.... that's probably me.
