I believe that the younger you are the more the age difference matters. My very first serious relationship, I was 16, he was 21 and egaged and later married. He seemed so very grown up and mature to me at the time.
After that I don't think I dated anyone much more than 2 or 3 years older than myself, and NEVER anyone younger. My husband is exactly, almost to the day, older than I.
But Murphy is almost exactly 10 younger than I am. At first I really wasn't sure, thinking it might be a problem. But it really hasn't. Rather than making me feel older, it's done just the opposite.  |
