'Carpe Diem', Oldfart? What does 'dead fish' have to do with anything?

I know, just live my life and don't worry about a s/o, just have fun. It's just weird, though, I have a lot of great female friends (supposedly I'm a flirt and ladies man), who all say that I'm a really great guy and any girl would be lucky to have me! Yet none of these friends would even consider it! Go figure!
