Last weekend ... we went to see "300." I was pretty disappointed. Seemed to me like instead of developing a wonderful story of Greek (Spartan) heroics against the invasion of Xerxes ... they focused mainly on seeing how much gore they could cram into the show. Special effect techniques were good, but the movie suffered by a lack of good script and plot (IMHO).
