Well, Cheyanne was right. The storm is here as I type. I swear I just saw some sort of apocalyptic voodoo monkey flying around outside throwing handfulls of ice pellets at my little town.

It's been going for only about 15-20 minutes and the front steps are already a sheet of ice. Got a feeling this isn't going to be much fun, supposedly it's going to be more ice than anything here where I'm located.
