I also like the ballet more, but, our civic center has a scrolling bar above the stage that translates the Italian lyrics. The first time we went to an opera (ever) was a delightful experience ... and that almost surprised me.

Tough choice, but I got to meet Dolly Parton at the Peoria Regional Airport one time (we were on the same flight), and she seemed to be an exceptionally nice lady. So, I'll pick her.
