Yeah, you can get a lot of laughs from a mixed-language relationship.
I think our best is the case of the chicken candy.
We had just moved. She was unpacking a box of food. She found this jar. It had a picture of a chicken on it and contained little wrapped blocks. She has enough curiosity for a dozen cats, she tried one. Thus was her introduction to bullion cubes.
