Yesterday it got up to 97F in Berkeley...and there's NO AC to be found in this town. We broke several heat records.

Today we're supposed to help friends move, but it's hot again...and because of the heat my arthritis is flaring up

I don't want to go to work tomorrow and sit behind a desk in the heat. Oh, and I haven't gotten my homework done because it's too hot to think.

The magical 4th....I am NOT cooking for my fancy dinner party in this heat, so we may go out (looking for a restaurant with AC)
