I went to the Dr today and learned that I have an infected/impacted salivary gland (maybe more than one) and I need to have it (them?) removed

I dislike the idea of someone slitting open the area under my tongue and removing glands. And this is outpatient?!?

I'm also PMSing and crampy, which just makes me a LOT of fun to be around
