Fantasy and Friction (Solo Sex)
I don't know if everyone has heard of relationship expert, Isadora Alman. She published a book in 1991 called, Ask Isadora. Chapter 5, in her book is titled, Fantasy and Friction (Solo Sex). Here is one Q & A in this chapter that really stuck in my mind after reading the book:
QUESTION: "I babysit a little girl who is just about one year old. Like a lot of kids, she has a favorite stuffed animal she likes to sleep with. When I put her down for a nap, instead of cuddling Teddy in her arms, she lies on top of him (which can't be comfortable) and sort of humps on him with her pelvis. If I try to move the toy, she gets upset. If I leave her alone with it, she humps until her face gets red and she stiffens and quivers all over. I can't think of any other explanation than that she's masturbating to orgasm. Is that possible at her age?" ANSWER: "Yes, and from what you describe, very probable. Orgasm is a time-honored natural method of releasing body tension before sleep. Allow her to enjoy herself. There will be time enough for her to learn the socialization rules of our culture. When she begins to play with other children, she'll find out that some pleasurable activities, like picking one's nose, are best reserved for private time." |

That figures . . .
In certain cultures it is customary for mothers to masturbate their children to sleep at night. I think I read that in one of Nancy Friday's books. . . . |
I'm speechless.

AK~ correct as usual... I have read the same info about cultural parenting styles
|
this information still scares me, dont know why, its probably just regret, i couldnt been having O's long before i started...damn i knew i was left out
|
Ahhhh this doesn't sound like it should be happening but what do I know?
|
Any volunteers to rub me to sleep?

As a relationship expert;I can only awnser with an old "Irish"
proverb: You can pick your friends; You can pick your nose; but,you can't pick your friends nose! Irish |
This certainly challenges all those misconceptions pertaining to female sexuality (as if we needed further evidence that women are sexual creatures!) and the 'innoncence of childhood'.
I wonder if people would be so surprised to read about a very young boy pulling at his erection. . . somehow I doubt it. |
I had an experience when babysitting a two year old boy. When just mucking around on the coach with him climbing all over me, I noticed that here had an erection. Because of the obvius awkardness of the situatin I stopped the play but before that occured there was definite movements on his part to rub himself on me. I in no way condone the the more perverted interactions between adult (the jury is still out on that one) and child. Yet still, it also indicates that the distinguishments that we as adults make between the sexual pleasures had by females and those had by males are a lot less separate when we are children. Maybe that is why Jesus says that we must be as children to enter the Kingdom so we can all have the same types of orgasm - or at least experience the opposite genders sensations as our own;)
