peace rally

hi all, i just got home from the peace rally in dc on sat, i had a great time, and it was for a good cause, thanks to al who showed up to lend their support, don't quit now, theres still al ot to do, oh yeah, i have pics from the rally if anyones interested

it doesn't, well our fearless leader wants to invade another country, and walk all over their freedom because he is scared of them, 500,000 iraqi children under the age of 5 have been killed by american and british bombs since 1990, i don't know if i'm making since i've been awake for a llong long time

It always surprizes me when people demand "Peace at any cost" Having served my country, I've seen exactly how the rest of the world, especially Religious Dicatorships like Iraq, live. Don't get me wrong - I would be very happy if the mideast threat would just go away. But it won't. I for one am not willing to allow a maniac the time or ability to develop and deliver a nuclear weapon to my doorstep before doing something about it. I hope and pray that our leaders continue to pressure the UN for a tough stance against Saddam and his ilk. I'm sorry Twitz, that you are so nieve as to believe that nothing will happen to us if we don't take steps to stop Saddam in his tracks, very and truly sorry for you and all your idealists.

I also understand this subjects importance...but it is not a subject that should be discussed here in the forums...

The reasons are that we are ppl from different backgrounds and beliefs and we should not as such turn Pixies, which is poular for its friendliness, into a war ground..

Maybe if the discussion was taken to PM or email..for the ones that wish to persue it
