Do you believe in ghosts?

Do you believe in ghosts?

Spooky. A SICK friend sent this to me...

Legend says that she used to sit at the table and look across the fields in anticipation of her loved one returning home. He never came. So, they say, she still waits. They caught this photo of what they claim to be her. This one was wild and a little spooky once you find the ghost in the picture. It took me a few seconds to find it, but when you do it just stands out. Like one of those optical illusions.
Click on the link below (or copy and drop) for the picture. Best to enlarge. For an added touch turn up the volume, it's faint but you can hear the ghost talking sometimes in a low murmur.

I dont know if i believe in ghosts or what but the whole time I was growing up i lived in a house that a person had once gotten stabbed in the garage...well we had expanded the house and i learned in my teen years that my bedroom was over the old garage...we anyway i used this to explain why for about 10 years i could not keep my closet door shut, latched or anything no matter what i did to this door it would open, i even bought a little hook to shut it and the next morning it was open. Dont know how to explain it but i always liked it

Than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

I believe. where i used to live (with my parents) the house used to belong to my dads boss, his father lived there, anyway every morning at a quarter past six an indentation appeared at the bottom of mum and dads bed. it was there for about five minutes then it would disappear and they would hear footsteps going across the landing and down the stairs. my dad asked his boss about his father and apparantely he used to sit on the end of the bed in the morning when he got up and put his boots on ready for work. spooky or what.

Not in the traditional sense.

We all carry our own ghosts.

gosh.... i really don't believe in ghosts. The deffinition of ghost is an absurity in itself, a physical imposibility.

2] (hey .. what happend to 1?? ) ghosts and religion (heaven) cannot be both true at the same time.

3] in order to see/hear/smell/talk, a ghost would need eyes/ears/nose/mouth+lungs+vocal cords. Having neither, it is the invisible equivalent of a vegetable. Who knows, maybe the tomato you just ate was elaborating a warp [faster than light for the non-star-trekers] engine :D

4] i do not believe in religion (incl. god) either. Don't want to give the full arguments, suffice it to say the entire christian doctrine is based on false assumptions.

5] ghosts are supposed to be the souls of the dead, BUT, when someone dies, his/her memory is VANISHED, therefore it is abruptly ilogical to assume that person will haunt his house.

6] in order to do real interaction with the physical world, a 'form of energy' shoul be extremly powerfull, and being that powefull would be struck down at the first lightning in a 20 mile area. [prove me i'm wrong...]

7] 'santa claus' EXISTS in every parent, it's a symbol of kindness, and of sacrifice, because what won't a parrent do to see his kids happy on Christmas? [PS: no, i don't believe in christmas' motive [jesus and stuff] either, but this doesn't mean i miss a good time when i see one].

8] *gathering my limbs from the floor after some obscure force jerked the chair from underneath me and smashed it in my head* ***pointing out the EXTRORDINARY REALISM of the situation :D*** - > if you really want to believe in something, believe in yourselves, in happiness, in your lover, in sex... (why not). After all, since we are all supposed to be descendents of Adam and Eve, and our really long time-ago-ancestors were having a tremendous number of incestuous relatioships to be able to expand the species, i can safely say i am nuts. and i love it.

ps: ghosts' cant' have sex for obviosly painful reasons...
***>edit<***
it was supposed to be PAINFULLY OBVIOUS, but i guess it came out the other way arround ... :D
