Does anyone here...
Know how to shrink pics (without cropping) to get them down to 50 X 50 pixels so they can be used as an avatar? I have a pic I would love to use, but it is currently 150 X 150 (which was small enough for another site I visit). Help, please!!!!!! :) Thanks.

If you can open up a pic in just about any photo editor, look for a resize option under an image or edit tab, click on resize and you should be able to specify the pixel height and width. I have microsoft photo editor on my machine, but it may come with Windows 2000 only. I'm sure there is a shareware demo or even a freeware program for download... try zdnet.com for imaging programs.

Since it's not exactly square I tried it too ways... One with the 50 Pixels wide, one with 50 pixels tall... See which one works...
(The one that's 50 wide is bigger overall... file tigress2 i think...) |

I noticed that your avatar was just a bit blurry from being resized.....you dont have to use this one...but i sharpened the image for you :)
