The curious affair of the full bush
 

I read in the press today (16 February, 2025) an article published on the subject of women preferring to retain their natural state of having pubic and armpit hair, that is not removing it by shaving / waxing, etc. The subject is not new as I also saw articles about 2 years ago stating the same thing. Curiously the article today was accompanied by a photo of a lady’s middle wearing a bikini bottom over a montage of greenery supposedly to imitate pubic hair sprouting outside the garment.

Now, if the article was all about hair growth being visible outside the confines of a bikini why not show a proper photo exhibiting the hair? Press photos show lots of women in bikinis said to be “wowing” their readers. Never is there a pubic hair to be seen! And nor do armpits exhibit hair!

Thus it appears that notwithstanding writing text about some women or even a lot of women being quite happy to let their pubic hair grow naturally and show it (if a little hirsute) but, where it might be seen outside a bikini bottom, it is still taboo to show such photos in mainstream press. Curious? Or, perhaps there are very few women whose hair grows outside the “bikini line”.
