In 1863, the New York Draft Riots, a protest against public conscription during the American Coivil War, started three days of riots. Very destructive riots.

At one time I would have thought and strongly felt that was a very UNpatriotic event and at an even earlier age, that it was even treason.

After more than four score of time, experience and observation, I'm sorry to say I am suspicious of ALL governments and have a prospective shift of why ALL wars are fought by the young. Of course the obvious is physical ability, but now I believe 'mental and life/human-experience', is the base for all human reaction to other humans. Can you say 'The Elite, Greed, Power'?
