Apollo 8's 'Earthrise'

The Earth rising over the moon's horizon — one of the more famous photos ever taken — as seen first by the Apollo 8 crew will be 45 years old on Tuesday.

NASA has created a pretty accurate simulation of how it appeared to those astronauts, way back then in 1968.
