MY LOVE IS GOING HOME TODAY (Aug. 9th)!!! A whole week earlier than planned. They came to him on Monday & asked how he'd feel about going home by the weekend...he said "Hell yeah!" So, I completed my "training" to assist him at home on Wednesday afternoon and they confirmed it at 1:30pm on Thursday that he will be out of he hospital by 11am today. He will still have 8wks of outpatient therapy, another 4wks in his "turtle shell brace"...and a long road yet to travel. But we are SO happy to finally be going home.
