Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas died Monday at the age of 73. Kalas was found passed out in the press box at Nationals Park prior to Monday's game against Washington. Emergency medical personnel took the Hall of Fame broadcaster to George Washington University hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:20 p.m. (et). Selected for the Hall of Fame in 2002 as the Ford C. Frick recipient for major contributions to baseball broadcasting, Kalas had called Phillies games since 1971. ...... For those national and international pixies he was also the voice of NFL films

A true Harry Kalas joke ...... After John Kruk was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 93 going into the start of '94 Harry caught Kruk in the clubhouse and said to him "Swing at that first pitch because I don't want to be the first guy to say he's got one ball on him.... " LOL
