I was curious if you find yourself masturbationg or having sex more often to relieve sexual tension or more often to conquer everyday stressors?

I don't know the answer to your question but I find I masturbate more often when I'm in a quandary. :shrug:

To release the daily stress....

There's times when I am more sensitive to irritants and it just so happens to correspond to a length of time I've gone without masturbating, but I don't know if it's a true link.

Stress or tension, however, is something that I can sometimes relieve by pleasuring myself. I think it's more a case that I'm allowing myself to be distracted from what is weighing heavily on my mind.

It does seem to release some soothing endorphins, doesn't it?
