Ability to sexually satisfy

Social status / Earning power
Parenting skills
X factor / Danger factor

At my stage in life, I'm no longer interested in the X factor / Danger factor.

Which, I am glad to say, means that you are still interested in the other nine??!!

except for social status and earning power, the rest are pretty valid.

I can't really describe it because it's come second nature.

Like Billy Ocean sings...You wake up and suddenly you're in love.


Hell, I can't even site examples of consistency based upon other people I've loved because one past love was nothing like the other two, and though the other two show similarities...they're strikingly different in some ways as well. So in closing, I can lay out a list of things I like in a woman, a person, but all that goes out the window when someone turns on that light within you.

Any and all of them in some quantity or other.

It all depends on who she is.

In the following order

2 Compassion / empathy
3 Intelligence
5 Humour

4 Parenting skills
8 X factor / Danger factor

I'm agreeing with Lil, not just for the safety factor but her prioritizing agrees with mine.

Thanks so far to everyone for their input. I won't have access to the net for a couple of weeks - not sure how that will be - but please keep posting.

I do agree on the earning power / status but I don't think that we would deny that it is important to some?

I also was wondering whether being strong willed / charactered or decisiveness was an important feature?

Lil - I couldn't get them into a 1 to 10 - but could do ABC's - and no doubt you see where I am going with this.

I would remove:
X factor / Danger factor

I would add:
Professional Drive
Neatness (I dislike messy people living in my home)
Integrity
Passion ~~ for life, for a hobby, and (of course) for me. :)

that's a good point osuche!....so many of us list all these attributes that we love about/make us fall in love with a person and we leave out the most important one; that they love us back.
