I am so stoked!
I found a new author a few weeks ago, and feel totally in love with her books. I've read through about 5 so far, and am searching for more. So, I looked up her website, and it gave her email addy, and said that she loves hearing from fans, and that she answers each email personally.
So, I emailed her, and expressed how much I enjoyed her series, and how well written I thought they were, yada yada yada. Told her a bit about me, too, like that I'm a stay at home mom, with 3 kids, and how books are a great escape. Well, I got home today, and she had emailed back! She talked about lots of stuff, books, kids, etc, it wasn't just a typical "Thank you for your interest in my books!". I wrote back. I'm so stoked. :) |
who is it?

Susan Krinard. She writes romance novels with a fantasy twist. In this case, were wolves :)

That is very cool, Gilly. Nice to see that she actually does appreciate her fans!
|
That was my thought too. She apologized for having taken so long to write back, as well. :) She seems very nice. :)

that is so great, thanks for sharing that :)

Aw....good to know there are good people in the world. I like those folks who realize how much the personal touch can mean.
|
That is so cool I will have to look for her books :D
|
Can i get the website addie Gilly?
Sounds like something i'd enjoy reading too |

Yeah, that one :)
The wolf series are based on a race of 'men' that turn into actual wolves at will, not werewolves at the full moon. So. Hot. And the cover men.... OOOOO baby. Oh, also, another author that's got some hot stuff in the fantasy genre is Sherrilyn Kenyon. She has a Dark Hunter series, which is set in modern days, with vampires, vampire hunters, and were wolves. Yummy. http://www.kinleymacgregor.com/sherrilyn/ She also writes as Kinley Macgregor. :) |
