OK, just wondering what are some of your favorite items to include in your picnic basket (or brown paper bag) ... It's summer and I love the idea of picnics ... so would love to hear some of your favorites. :D

wine, cheese, crackers, chicken, 3-bean salad, watermelon

veggie pasta salad with an oil and balsamic vinegar or lemon juice dressing

definitely have to have the cold fried chicken, a nice loaf of bread and some cheeses and any kind of fruits.

A loaf of bread, a jug of wine and thou Fzzy:)

Chef salad, French bread and home-made chocolate chip cookies.

UNLESS theres a camp fire or grill. Then instead of cookies, its s'mores!!!

And a thermos of iced coffee. :)

My wife's taco salad, fried chicken, plenty of ice and some soda pop.

Thick sliced, fresh, crusty Italian bread...sliver thin rare roast beef...sliver thin American cheese (I know, not very exotic, but I like American cheese on roast beef!)...spicy brown mustard...horseradish...cold grape tomatoes (to pop in your mouth between bites of sandwich)...bacon, ranch pasta salad...ice, water, beer and a fruity red wine (for dessert, of course!).

And here I thought this thread was gonna be all about the blasted ants that have invaded my home this week!

A lovely fresh Chicken Ceaser Salad with something nice to drink, like refreshing in that hot sun! Then to follow, strawberries and balsamic vinegar, yuuuuuuuuuuuuum!

Brie, a baguette, fruit and a bottle of wine. Somewhere secluded so after I get a bit tipsy, I can ravish that sexy man of mine! That would be my ideal picnic!

How can you have a picnic without watermelon? :confused:
