How important is trust to you?

Would you sleep with someone you do not trust? IMO you need to trust the person, after all they could do you harm either physically or emotionally.

Rifter,

In my youth, yes I would. Now, no.

Sharni 05-31-2003 06:10 PM

No...i don't think i could

But ya never know unless your in that situation

airhog 05-31-2003 08:31 PM

Hmm I must figure out how to get Sharniqua to trust me :D

On a more serious note, I would rather trust the person. Its so much easier, and you dont have to worry about anything.

No. Never have, never will.

Trust can be violated at anytime before, during, or after.

So....in all logic I would have to say YES! It's happened to me and I learn from my mistakes..........considering I include a "trust violation" a mistake to learn from.......then Yes! I have done it and I won't repeat the same mistake.

I think trust is important in all areas of a relationship. I wouldn't be with some one I didn't trust and therefore would not be sleeping with him.

In my own opinion~ Sex requires trust. You are opening up the innermost part of yourself to a person. Do you want to make love to a person you couldnt trust? I dont think I would want to..

Sometimes sex without feeling is so raw, animalistic . . . who needs trust in those cases?

Having said that, sex with someone you love and trust is better.

Signed,

Sometimes there is fucking and sometimes there is sex...it can happen either way

There are different types of trust. I have slept with a man whom I didn't trust to be faithful but I DID trust him to be honest with me.

I have never (and I don't think will ever) had sex with someone I didn't like (either as a friend or more) and I couldn't ever like someone I didn't trust.

I did lose trust in my ex when he began to become a little too loose lipped about our private life to people like his parents, his work colleagues and our mutual friends. At that point our sex life pretty much ground to a halt.
