Sore Penis Question

Hi
I was wondering if anyone can enlighten me on this, my husband has soreness just below the head of his penis. It was sensitive at first and gradually it has gotten worse and now it is scaly ( I know this is kinda gross..sorry) and raw underneath the dryness. He says it is really painful but is reluctant to go to the doctors. I have absolutely NO idea what it could be, I've looked on the net but can't find anything that resembles it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I've no idea - but definitely see a doctor!

It could be any number of things, it might be minor but it could also be a serious condition. It might also be a fungal or bacterial infection, in which case it might be contagious and could also spread to other parts of the body.

Get him checked!

he needs to go to the docs no if or buts if he leaves it it will only get worse. if all else fails ask him how he would feel if he passed on the infetion or what ever it is to you may get him off his arse
an to the docs

NO JOKE-

Just tell him that he can touch again AFTER the doctor says so!

….. and if YOU have any doubt, remember any condition is easier to treat on the OUTSIDE than on the INSIDE!

Vixenoir---Is he circumcised?I had to get the operation,in my 40s,
because of a rash.It has nothing to do with cleanliness. There is even a medical name for the condition. My foreskin was loose,I've
been, masturbating daily, since I was a kid,and never had any trouble. My foreskin was so short that when I had an erection, you
almost couldn't tell that I wasn't circumcised.Before lookng,the Dr.,
knew what it was.It's that common.It doesn't affect everyone.I
don't know if it is that.I'm just trying to help! Irish
P.S.Just my $.02.By the way,my wife&I,notice no difference in sensation&we have been married for 38yrs.

He is circumcised Irish, and he was fine up until about 2-3months ago. He thought it was an allergy rash at first maybe from washing powder or something but its gotten progressively worse and I don't really have anyone to ask so thats why I posted this weird question.

Hmmm. My hubby got this last week but I just assumed it was from too many BJ's back to back....

I'd be a bit concerned....definately no sex of any kind till you're sure its not catchy.Hope everythings ok.

If he is old enough to have sex he should be responsible enough to care for his own body.........at least because whatever it is could cause you to become affected as well.

yeah i have had the same problem. i was told it was from dry skin because of hot showers in the winter. that and sometime the irritation from sex causes the dry skin to act up even more. believe me i was a bit freaked when i saw it.
