Did you say it has one free admission to the 'adult' version of "The Two Towers"?

Scarlett 11-17-2002 05:27 PM

Oh man! I can't wait for the Two Towers!!

Scarecrow 11-17-2002 07:37 PM

no one free admission for an adult priced ticket, sorry for any confuuuusion

jennaflower 11-17-2002 09:15 PM

I can hardly wait :)

Altho my son and I both wanted to catch the first, we never got a chance in the theaters. We finally rented it about 2 months ago.. and not only was he captivated for the entire length of the movie (which says alot since he is only almost 8) but we were both VERY bummed that we didn't see it in the theaters..

We WILL be seeing it on opening nite this time around.. even if I have to take the day off work and pull him out of school :)

On a more childish note... The Wild Thornberries starts on the same day as the towers :) It will be a busy movie weekend :)

thank god a good movie I'm sick of hearing about that darn Harry Pothead

Scarlett 11-18-2002 07:35 AM

I plan to go see Harry Pothead as well :D

jennaflower 11-18-2002 07:47 AM

Already went to see Harry Potter :) Another one of the advantages to having a kid :) I get to see such movies without having to admit that I want to :)

dicksbro 11-18-2002 08:12 AM

Went to see Harry Potter on Saturday and loved it. Thought it was even better than the first. Will really miss Dumbledorf, though. :(

Now, hopefully I'll recover from surgery in time to see the Lord of the Rings Twin Towers. Previews look great. :)

(Hmmmm an adult version might be interesting.)

I too saw Harry Potter on Sunday and it was great. I bought the new DVD set for Lord of the Rings as well (have already watched it twice) and a few of the additions that were not in the movie were worth getting it.

Note: I had just so happened to watch HP 1 on saturday on HBO and my kid watched it. Then going to the movie yesterday it was very weird how much all those little pubes sounded so different.

jennaflower 11-18-2002 11:18 AM

Skip.. it was completely strange to notice the chance in them. My son and I watched HP1 on Thursday night.. and then Friday we went for the 2nd.. and the moment that Ron opened his mouth.. my son looked at me with complete shock. LOL.. had to look at my son and tell him "Yep, you are growin up too". LOL it was rather funny.. but definetely a surprise. I didn't notice that change so much in the other characters..

skipthisone 11-18-2002 11:21 AM

Oh my Jenna, you had to have noticed Malfoy, he was completely different, then read on the internet he had grown 14 inches between movies.

Scarlett 11-18-2002 12:18 PM

You all are giving me things to look for :D We will probably go see it on Thanksgiving day after dinner.
I heard from somewhere that the kids were growing so much that they may not be able to be in the other movies. How crappy would that be??

jennaflower 11-18-2002 05:39 PM

Actally Skip.. I did notice Malvoy.. and my first thought was (Damn he is gonna be a good lookin man).. Hope he has a good agent.. cuz no doubt there will be lots of young girls watchin just for him..

Booger 11-18-2002 09:10 PM
