Bush has a history of being able to raise lots of money and then not be able to manage a business. The same thing has happened with his Presidency. The country has the largest national deficit ever, yet Bush has set a new record for the most money raised for political campaigning.
I'm gonna use this list... I think I'll start with renting a Martin Sheen flick.... |
Just so that people will know-"I" didn't get it backwards. This is a
reprint of the Pabaah website. If someone disagrees with you,it doesn't make them wrong! That's why there are cars of different colors.Everyone believes something different. It's also why this thread is called"Public Announcement".It is just information! Irish P.S.Different strokes, for different folks! |
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Just because certain "celebs" dont agree with the man that is President of our country doesnt mean we should send their comments to everyone under the sun like gossip. Celebs are people just as we are. What about when Clinton was in office? Imagine the comments that were said then from all kinds of people. People will always talk.. whats new?
|
You or whomever originated this BLACK LIST is asking good people to pass it along.I think that is wrong. These people not only have a right to their opinion, but a responsibility to wake the American people up to the REAL dangers in our land.So you consider your self a conservative republican, well fine. But these people are far to the right of even you. They are FASCISTS man.Get real...Listen to something other then Fox 11 and Clear Channel. This is getting scarry for the rest of us........... P.S. I too have signed the NION Petition as well as Ramsey Clark's Petition th impeach Bush.I have signed up as a member and contribute money to the ACLU,Amnesty International,People United for the Separation of Church and State as well as others.

Scary. Very scary.
Shades of McCarthyism. *shudder* |
Irish,
Don't sweat the small stuff... ...and that's 113 lines of small stuff. Many people didn't like Clinton, many people don't like Bush. Don't be influenced by the Hollywood names. They're that same names that also failed to prevent the recall of their Govenor. |
Considering the current state of this stupid war, I agree that these people are the real heros.
I will respectfully counter Irish's post with the following letter from NRA Blacklist: Quote:

It's not countering my post,it is another"Public Announcement!
I hope my name is on that list!I'm an NRA member. Not for guns, but to protect the Second Amendment. Again,I will say,I'm NOT a Republican. My wife& I are registered independants. Irish P.S.We have always believed in voting for the person that we like, reguardless of the party! |
I'm confused.
Is there some question about the right of people to have differing opinions? |
Oldfart,
I’d like to think not. That being said, one of the more unsatisfying aspects of contemporary democratic politics is the tendency of people to demonizing their opponents. That coarsening of the political discourse makes it, in my opinion, more difficult to address the large number of very real and very difficult issues with which humanity must come to grips. Alas, America seems to be in the vanguard here. Then again, Americans are not known for their self-restraint. |
OF---In the normal language, that means that you hit the nail on the head!(MY opinion) Irish

I have a few words for those that made this list...and they are not pleasant.
Yet for our current president I am very concerned for the future. I have been following closely what has been happening. Of late that has troubled my mind has been the consideration of developing Nuke bunker buster bombs and the possibility of nuclear testing. What causes me to fear is the acceptance that a "nuke" could be considered a battle field weapon. How soon would a "nuke" intended for deep earth penitration be considered for above ground us to destroy mobile formations? The cancellation of the ABM treaty is another cause for concern and the insistant developement of "Star Wars" missile defense. Why would some third world power spend billions on developing the damn things and then many hundreds of millions more on a delivery vehical. It would make more sence for these countries to smuggle the things in to their targets and all the Darth Vaders atop orbiting Death Stars wouldn't matter for all the costs involved. But of the current Iraq conflict--it was a fools trip made by the King of Fools. The military planning was near perfect--but the peace winning aspect leaves much to be desired. Sadly we have lost creditability with our own allies. In the future if a real threat comes along, just how supportive might they be to deal with a real threat? Now with North Korea we have but to hope that China of all countries will have to come to our aid top resolve this issue--anyone remember that little spy plane of ours that found its way on that Chinese island? Granted many of these people mentioned in this list are flakes to be sure, but nevertheless had G. W. Bush listened to a few others outside his own inner circle our armed forces wouldn't be used for target practise this day. All I can say is thank God I have no son--but as I sit here I weep in my soul for those whose sons live this nighmare now. |
Very interesting!

You say that as if you thouhgt he had the capability.  |
