Best TV Theme Music

OK, here is one for you all. Which TV show has the best theme music?

I have to go for the 'Dr Who' Theme. And if you want to hear a new take on it, look for the version done by Orbital. WOW!

Oldfart 04-28-2002 07:52 AM

Danger man. As opposed to Danger Mouse.

legend 04-28-2002 08:10 AM

The Simpsons! :)

PantyFanatic 04-28-2002 08:36 AM

Being this long in the tooth, I’ve heard too many TV theme scores to pick a best. As for uniquely identifiable TV music, I have to say the theme for The Twilight Zone does it for me.

mindboxer505 04-28-2002 09:04 AM

Speaking of being long in the tooth......what about the music to MISSION IMPOSSIBLE...

MilkToast 04-28-2002 09:31 AM

for music you can always recognize... Hawaii Five-O

Lilith 04-28-2002 09:36 AM

Gilligan

Saddaddy 04-28-2002 10:02 AM

Magnum PI

GermanSteve 04-28-2002 12:20 PM

I agree with Magnum and Mission impossible, but what about a classic one like Kojak? And several years ago there was one called policedoctor Simon Lark or so, and I also like the one of Quincy. And that police TV show with William Shatner, J. P. Hooker or something like that, all great!
And I have some great titlemusic of cinema films in my mind: James Bond: live and let die (of the Wings), Buck Rogers, Star Wars, Rocky,... endless! :)

Christine 04-28-2002 12:37 PM

Theme music that always get my attention: The Twilight Zone, Twin Peaks and M*A*S*H.

Scarecrow 04-28-2002 03:33 PM

How about Bonanza or Paladin or are they to old for you kids to remember/;) ;)

GermanSteve 04-28-2002 04:22 PM

Saddaddy 04-28-2002 07:25 PM
