Pick your Poison
 

I was just curious as to what some your favorite alcoholic drinks are.....or if you prefer them virgin ;)

I generally drink goldschlagger, amaretto, or rum. However, I've recently picked up some Redd's Apple Ale which is pretty good.

I just tried Angry Orchard which is a hard cider and I dug it but I am usually a malibu and pineapple girl.

A friend of mine turned me onto Angry Orchard. It's good, but cider is a fall drink to me. Something about wood smoke in the air with a nice spiced cider.

Drambuie, any time of year. Same with Guinness.

I don't think we have Drambuie in the states. At least I haven't seen it. On a side note (since I just looked it up) is there any other whiskey it's similar to? Such as Crown Royal or Jack Daniels?

I prefer grog. Or a bluebeard.

The bluebeard sounds better than the grog to me GG.

Apparently, mine would be raspberry rum and mountain dew if last night is any indication.

Jack Daniels or Herradura tequila depending on my mood!

I prefer...a margarita but not sure which flavor I like best...

but me and Jose get along just fine with a little salt and lime.

A perfectly seasoned Bloody Mary....that includes a healthy dose of horseradish! And perhaps a slice of crispy bacon as garnish, yum.

Glayva and Scotch Mist are closest. These are sipping whisky, not shot or mixer liquours.

I'll take a look. Might be able to get some smaller bottles.

Captain and Coke, well made Bloody Mary and Long Island Ice teas ... but I'm turning into a wine snob ... or is it slob ?? can't tell after about 4 glasses ... LOL ..

It must be in the states. In the past I've had both a 'Screaming Viking' and a 'Rusty Nail'. Both are made with Drambuie. Very strong but yummy drinks.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's in my liquor store. I know that Oldfart has fairly refined tastes, and I live in Tennessee. Not exactly known for the refined. LOL

Drambuie is a good liquour, but it's no single malt. You'll probably find it in 5 or 6 oz novelty bottles.

I enjoy a nice kaluha and milk....easy on the milk please. I adore a well put together Pina Colada and love to sip Frangelico. In fact I have been known to sip a bottle of Frangelico.....I was wasted lol

Most recently, I had double chocolate vodka mixed in a Mocha Java Monster (energy drink).

So you can stay up and get drunk all over again?

It seemed to make the buzz hit faster. Granted, I'm not a huge drinker anyway, but I was def feeling it by the end of the first cup.

Coconut Rum and Orange Juice or a simple Mike's Hard Lemonade.

I'll take mead or Newcastle dark ale.

Guinness or Macallan

My father enjoys Drambuie. We have a liquor store in town that carries it in decent size bottles, so I get him some every year for the beginning of winter.

After the day I have had, I would appreciate a Fuzzy Navel and I do mean the drink.....with tons of ice! :wobbly:
