Chips and Dip
When you eat chips and dip do you just dip the chip in and get a chunk out of the dip or do you maybe smooth the chip over the dip building it up on the chip. Or maybe you have other ways of eating them.

I'm not much of a dip person. When I do the dip thing though, it is kind of a smooth a little onto the chip. Not into excessive dip.

I've honestly never given it any thought. I'll have to check next time I have chips & dip I guess. :D
I do know that you never double dip though. :) |
I'm a sinker. I sink the chip in and whatever clings is mine :D I love dip. All kinds on all things.

I guess I generally use Lilith's technique ... stick it in and claim whatever sticks. :)

I avoid dip unless it's salsa.....but I am addicted to Tostitos with Lime. :D

I'm still looking for a dipchip that won't selfdestruct on contact.
Best thing I ever saw was a dip bowl with a long handled (parfait) spoon. She said it saved chips and biscuits because you could double-dip without putting germs all through the dip. |

I make a corn and black bean salsa that I serve with those Tostitos Scoops.

You know after thinking about it, when I do have chips & dip (which is rarely) I think I sort of employ the same technique as Lilith. Usually I'll go with chips & salsa though. I also like pretzels and cheese dip and in that case I pretty much cover the pretzel with as much cheese as it can possibly take.

I just take all the chips and crumble them into the dip bowl and eat it with a spoon!
Just kidding...but I've thought about doing it! |
I've done that to thicken too-runny dip, with limited success.
