Live Free or Die Hard
My wife and I just went to see the new Bruce Willis "Die Hard" thriller. If you like action adventures that are just about non-stop action from start to finish ... this is your kind of show. Man, I just don't know who thinks up all the stunts or how they can make them all happen.
On a different subject ... have any of you ever wondered or should I say marveled at how many people it takes to do a major motion picture. Seems like literally hundreds of people are intimately involved. No wonder my home movies look like ... well ... my home movies. :( |
I want to see it...I find Bruce Willis very charming. :)
Thanks for the reco - maybe I will splurge and see it at the theater! |
I too find Bruce Willis very charming... ;)
Some of my co-workers were talking about movies today. They all talked about 'chick flicks'.... lol - Then I mentioned the Die Hard movies... you know, the blood, guts, car crashes, bombs... they looked at me like I was nuts. I will own this movie. |
In McClane we trust................although I have'nt seen it yet. :D
|
Hmm, charming isn't the word I use when I think of Bruce. :brows:
My Joe and I were just talking about going to see this movie this weekend. :) |
We just got back form the 'Die Hard' movie, we really enjoyed it.
yippy ki ya mot... |
The shorts at the Cinema looked good.
It's not released here yet. |
You went to the cinema in your shorts?
|
I go everywhere in short......I'm five feet tall.
|
no the movie was not short, it was over 2 hours long
|
This is Darwin, Scotz. We do almost everything in public in shorts.
|
^^^^:D Y'all are funny!
We just got home from seeing the movie. It was lots of fun. Bruce is terrific and special effects were awesome. |
Was everybody in shorts ... I know I was. :boink:
|
i watch this movie last night, i am a diehard fan and must say this movie is just as good as the first three, bruce is up to his usual tricks with stunts that are excellent and would never happen in real life but you expect that in a diehard film. as always unless you kill him i suspect he will be back.................9 out of 10
|
oh and i forgot to mention i didnt watch it wearing shorts because its to f...ing cold
|
Maybe all the way down to 20C?
:roflmao: |
Don't laugh PF, its been overnighting down to 17C and it's freezing.
|
I alway thought 0C was freezing?
|
That's why we use Fahernheit ... we know that 32F is freezing, but, when you're in the midwest in the winter ... it's really not too bad ... unless the humidity is up and the wind is blowing. :wobbly:
|
I wanted to see this BEFORE I saw Transformers so I could keep my summer movie progression streak going, but...alas...
I'll probably see this tonight. Sounds like it'll be the second best action movie this summer! Transformers was just too, too, too sweet for words...sorry! |

Just saw it today. Asolutely awesome!!!!!
It was just what the doctor ordered. Been sort of having a vacation hangover since I got home but that cheered me right up. :D |
got Die Hard as a 2nd show to Transformers last night at the drive-in; we got BOTH movies for $10($5/person and both my kids were free being 3 and under). Unfortunately, we didn't get to see but the first 45 mins to an hour of Die Hard--my son got sick so we left. Transformers was awesome though and so was what I got to see of LForDH. IF I have the extra $$ next week--we're going for Harry Potter & 1408.
