Sharni Readmitted
 

this is Bilbo calling.
Not sure if I'm in the right thread as it has been a long time since I've been here.

Ok Australian time 9:30pm sunday feb 26th ( sorry you will need to work out time times zones)
Sharni has been readmitted to hospital.

We became very concerned about her wound, and took her to the emergency of our local hospital, the doctor on duty took one look and a disgusted sniff of Bill, and announce that sharni would not be going home tonight.

A bit of relief as she will be better cared for in hospital, than what I can provide her here at home,

To say I am worried is an understatement, but Sharni made me promise to let all pixies know, I will post more as I find out myself tomorrow.

I pray that everything is ok with her, but other than that I can tell you no more at this stage.

I'll keep Sharni/Alasse in my thoughts and hopes for a successful hospital stay.

I hope everything goes ok.....you did the right thing taking her back to the hospital.

(((hugs))) I'm glad they are finally doing something about it. They were scaring me letting her wound go necrotic like that. I am glad she'll be in hospital where they can give her antibiotics if it's needed. Tell her if she doesn't get better soon they are going to put maggots or leeches on her :D

I was really worried too...especially after the discussion in chat last night. I'm glad she's in the hospital being treated. That Dr better do a good job or we'll form a posse and hunt him down. :)

Thank you Bilbo for letting us know the status. I'm going to try and link this to her primary thread about he reduction. As you could see at the 'nipple party', many people are concerned and following her situation closely.

Similar thoughts to Lilith's here in that I was starting to feel a bit of concern about them not taking care of it immediately......well NOW they will.

I'm actually feeling relief in knowing she's in the hosp right now....that's a good thing!

she is prolly in the operating room right now as i type this so as i have been doing a lot of chanting as of late.....

Healing thoughts!

Since her surgery was scheduled for 4 hours ago - I hope she's done in the operating room and on to recovery. I hope this hospital recovery is easier upon Sharni than the last.

Good news and GREAT news! :^<^>v>^v: <----- happy dancing feet smilie

Sharni came through the operation feeling good with all vitals looking good and they did NOT have to do a skin graft. :D

They are telling her she will be in the hospital for a week to be monitored, but she is in very little pain now. :) They have her on self administered pain meds and she is reported in good spirits right now.

We should have more updates after Bilbo’s visit tomorrow morning, Oz time.

Great news! Yay on the no skin graft -- happy to hear this. And I hope she doesn't have Staph, either.
