maddy 05-31-2005 09:37 PM

yella

IAKaraokeGirl 05-31-2005 09:38 PM

Cream-colored, because that's how it came when I bought it. :)

I've had my bedroom a dark green, a dark blue, and a peach-ish color in the past. My favorite, though, was the purple room I had when I was 15. LOL.

FallenAngel5 05-31-2005 10:06 PM

my room is a very pretty light(er) blue, with a clay pink border. I designed it myself at behr.com and painted it myself, and it is very pretty. :)

Cheyanne 05-31-2005 10:10 PM

What are you painting yours Lil?

Lilith 05-31-2005 10:35 PM

not sure yet but my bathroom is navy and white so I don't want to clash

Cheyanne 05-31-2005 10:44 PM

hmmmmmmmmm... a nice powder grey or a slate grey with a touch of blue in it would be nice.... :D

Mercury_Maniac 05-31-2005 10:47 PM

was Light blue...now its just Creme/Off white

Lilith 05-31-2005 10:47 PM

problem is I have gray carpet so I have to be super careful which way I lean

gekkogecko 05-31-2005 10:58 PM

Just a boring, standerd white. But there are pictures of reptiles all over the walls.

maddy 05-31-2005 11:07 PM

If I had it to do again, my walls would be a lovely shade of linen. I found that having them painted a color makes changing decor more involved. And well I'm sick of my bedding now and can't find anything that matches the walls.

osuche 05-31-2005 11:09 PM

White now...the new house will have a muted slate blue in the bedrooms.

mayhem1978 05-31-2005 11:37 PM

at the moment its a mixture of concrete walln n white wall paper

wyndhy 06-01-2005 09:21 AM

go with watery colors, lil. it'll look good with a grey carpet and bring in some liveliness. won't clash with the bath either. plus blues/bluegreens are supposed to be soothing to the eye before sleep
(omg--that means you might have aqua in your bedroom  :D

mine is an offwite with a nice stenciled border in a darker shade. i'd like to paint it taupe or something else a bit warmer.

scotzoidman 06-01-2005 09:40 AM

Ours is light blue with dark blue trim around the doors & windows...also we took up the ugly pink carpet my mama left behind, revealing the original hardwood floor...just a 3 x 5 area rug by the bed so's I don't hafta step onto a cold floor when I get up...

cowgirltease 06-01-2005 09:47 AM

I have grey carpet also but my drapes and accessories are in burgundy. I have custom made doors and trim and it's natural in color so I went with off white on the walls.
I felt it would be too dark in there if I used anything else.

WildIrish 06-01-2005 09:52 AM

I suggest stone block walls, with iron rings mortared into them.

Lilith 06-01-2005 09:54 AM

The rest of my house is grays, taupe and blues (with the exceptions of the kid's rooms which are insane), with all stark white trim mouldings...I'm weird about that :rolleyes2 so I am just trying to avoid clashing.

So many of your bedrooms sound like comfortable inviting places to visit;)

Galatea 06-01-2005 08:14 PM

mine is a khaki/grey color. I picked that because I can change the whole look by changing the valances and bedspread. Right now the curtains and bedspread are black and red. Very dramatic. If it were up to me I think I would paint it red but hubby says red makes him tense. Next I'm going to buy me some Maroon/plum sheer hanging valances and a solid maroon/plum bed ensemble though. I love the jewel tones against the grey.

Fangtasia 06-03-2005 04:51 AM

Boring white

cherrypie7788 06-03-2005 08:44 PM

My walls are dark teal tongue and groove boards (because I stripped the ugly ass rose wallpaper off as soon as I could), with light blue-green trim. The ceiling is painted the light blue-green to match. I'm getting sick of it.

Sugarsprinkles 06-03-2005 08:46 PM

Mine are white. But when you rent, you don't really have many options.
