The owners have made an improvement to the PM system. The annoying pop up asking about having the PM confirmed is gone and you now simply tick a box found under the text box where you write the PM, if you want a confirmation receipt. If you don't tick it the person you PM will not get a pop up either. :D

Great news! That box always annoyed me to no end... and because I have a popup blocker even when I clicked on the yes, I couldn't view the message anyway unless I clicked on the PM link... :D

I like having the option to use it but it's not something I need to very often and the other set up was soooo annoying.

Speaking of annoying...... Does anyone else notice that when you hit the Quick reply box and type The symbols for a grin (Uppercase D) that it always comes up posted as a lowercase d and you have to go back and edit it to make the grin smiley?

I think it has to do with the minimum character requirement for a post

yep that's it! It's set to require at least 2 characters and :D although typed as 2 is read as one
