Feeling faint during sex????
My hubby is a pretty conservative guy, but the past few nights he's been the wild one for once.....
Friday night he initiated sex, we had great forplay which is when I started feeling dizzy and then a wonderfully wild love making session.....I did not cum but he did and when it was over I layed there and basically passed out for the night. (it was 8 in the eve) Today, two nights later, he initiated it again....once again some wild forplay driving us both wild and I got on top of him. As I started to cum I felt like I was going to pass out, telling him "I am going to faint". I got off and he then got on me and finished. I have been so weak and shaking ever since. In 7 years together I don't remember feeling this way. Didn't know if anyone else has this "fainting" feeling during or after sex. Kinda takes away all the fun worrying you're going to faint. Of course, he thinks it's the greatest thing. LOL Your advise is appreciated. Kisses, licks and hugs to you. |
I hope its just good sex dearie ,But if your really concerned time for a physical
|
AND NO I AM NOT BRAGGING!
|
HEHE.. to the bragging part!
It might just be the recent changes you've been going thru. Career, family, stress and lack of a good full nights sleep. Eat well sleep well and if it persists see your doctor. |
Everyonce in a while I have a vasovagal type reaction during sex. I usually just get a feeling as if the room is spinning. I know it has to do with blood flow so I just take it slowly returning to an upright position. Also hydration can play a part so possibly drink some water before sex. You should mention it to your physician.

way22hot, coaster and Lilith, thank you for your replies. Not quite sure what's going on...but I will keep a look at it. And coaster, you're probably right about the stress stuff.
THANK YOU |
Lilith sounds like she knows whats shes talking about .
(not having a clue what vasovagal means ,but it sounded good) |
Thanks again way22hot......
|
Hmmmm. Maybe you'd better try it with me and see if you get the same reaction... just for the sake of science. :D

That's what you get for boinking people on the merry-go-round! |
Could it be that the excitement of this great sex is causing you to hyperventilate a little. That would give you the symptoms you describe.
Also, the shakiness afterwards could be attributed to your muscles being physically exhausted after the exhertion of sex, and your worrying about it may be contributing. Just a thought - I'm not a doctor, so as everyone's already said, if it persists, see your GP. Hopefully it's nothing - if so, yay for you and the up turn in your sex life!! :D |
I can not say anything different that has not been posted already.
I am a paramedic and I hope it is not a sign of some under lying problem. It could be caused by many reasons. I hope it is because of the great sex. I have hyperventilated a couple of times during sex which made me lite headed. If it happens a third time in a short period of time I would have a check up with your doctor. |
Thank you all for the advise and funny comments
|
and if want more stable results,
you could try me out too |
Wow, I got all kinds of offers here...hhmmmm what to do.
|
whenever I hear words like faint, dizzy and/or shaky... I think of my low blood sugar reactions (hypoglycemia) when I do get them, as a Diabetic. I don't think you could be going through anything as severe if you've always had a clean bill of health, and/or don't have any history of Diabetes in your family, but hey...all that expended energy would be sure to send your blood sugar for some kind of loop, making you light headed etc......but also during these reactions, most Diabetics/hypoglycemics, get EXTREMELY hungry.....but good sex always makes me hungry too...so ah..oh well, I just wanted to put in my opinion.....I hope you feel better, and get it all straightened out, sounds like you've been having a lot of fun!
|
Thank you so much....years ago I was misdiagnosed as hypo....... maybe I need to have that checked again.
Thanks! |
*Puts on her Nurse's uniform*
HUGS hi sweetie!! I am late with my response to this. Sorry, but it has been a busy time for me. I have had orgasms so intense they left me exhausted, weak, and almost unconscious, but this is not what you are describing. Does this happen with other kinds of exertion, like climbing stairs? I would see my family Doctor soon, hon. Loulabelle, vrmag, Lilith, and OzKristin are all correct, this might be a problem, a sign of abnormal blood sugar, hyperventilation (which has happened to me too during sex, and I like it, frankly, but that is for another post) or dehydration. Or as Coaster said, maybe just stress. It might also be a sign of a heart problem!! In some people, with certain kinds of heart problems, during exercise their heart can beat erratically and make you feel tired, weak and dizzy, so PLEASE HON, go see your Doctor!!!! *Removes her Nurse's uniform and stretches* Mmmmmm much better!!! "Always naked at home" Wicked Wanda, BSN, TNCC, ACLS (Look, they're just letters, but I worked hard for them, and I include them to show that I really do know something about the human body that isn't just about sex) WW |
I don't get it WW....those initials:
Babe Swings Nightly, Totally Naughty Cheeky & Cute, Adorable Chick Loves Sex How do they qualify you to discuss medical matters? ;) :p :D |
Wow, thank you so much for the responses. Still have not discussed things with a doctor tho. Been pretty lazy lately. Thank you again!
|
Ok, the relevant parts of my resume.
BSN means Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, (Working on my MSN, by the way, my Master's) TNCC: Trauma Nurse Core Course ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (certified) The last two are specialized educational programs that teach advanced theory and skills on caring for cardiac and trauma patients By the way, I am also certified as a Community Health Nurse (which is NOT the same thing as a Master's in Community Health, mine is a far more limited education, but someday...), in Children's Health Education, I have completed advanced training in Nursing Management and Critical Care Nursing, and lastly, I am Certified as a Family Planning and Disease Prevention Nurse, (sex ed) the last of which I am not allowed to perform as a job function as I work for a hospital that is associated with a Catholic Charity. *blushing* Sometimes I think some people here think I am ignorant bimbo. I was made Nurse Manager of this Clinic NOT because I am an Adorable Chick who Loves Sex, but through very hard work and education. I am aware part of this is over-compensation for my size and a desire to be taken seriouslyas a Nursing Professional. (I paid a lot of money to my therapist to learn this) I am also sinfully proud that I am the youngest Nurse Manager in this System by over 10 years difference. Not too bad for the "little bitty chick with the big ass and no tits" Wanda, RN. |
Hey sweetie pie,
You know I love ya, and I was only joking....I just thought it would be fun to make your hard earned letters stand for something silly (knowing full well that they stand for something very sensible as well) I was attempting to pay you a compliment, by drawing attention to the fact that along with your obvious intelligence and talent, you're also a beautiful, sexy and fun woman. Evidently this fell flat. I apologise. |
Hey Wicked Wanda..... when I'm in New Orleans and feeling faint & light headed, will you please take care of me???
I'll need a nurse with your qualifications to save me!! Thanks for the great advise for our Pixie friend! |
Sweeties,
I am sorry. I horribly over-reacted, no apology needed. I have been much too defensive in this Forum recently about how I think people see me. I want to blame it on things like job stress or other stuff, but I have always over -reacted to some things.... HUGS to lovely Loulabelle, and a big OF COURSE to Coaster. The apology is mine to make Hon... Sorry... Kisses to everyone~! Wanda |
(((WW)))
|
Well I appreciate all the advise and I have been keeping a look at things going on......
Thank you very much! |

Thanks Coaster! That felt great. I know I can always count on you to make me smile. THANKS! |
I am going to the doctor tomorrow...this has just gotten out of hand for me...the chest pains and the weakness.
Wish me luck! |
Good luck!
((IWM)) |
Thanks
|
Had an EKG, blood work and chest Xrays done this morning. The EKG and xray show I'm okay......so he gave me meds to I guess clear up whatever he thinks is making me have a hard time breathing and if it continues to come back for more tests....and yes, I told him about feeling faint during sex.
Thanks for those who wrote in concern! Means a lot. |
Please keep us informed..... you're a valued Pixie in our big family.
Our thoughts are with you everyday...  :grope: :grope: |
Thank you Coaster. It's appreciated very much.
Hopefully, it's nothing. |
Bloodwork results came back normal today too. So, looks like I will live :)
|
of course, if you'd like to check to see if the same thing happens during grrlsex, i'll be *right* there!
purely in the interest of medicine, of course :p |
yummmmmmm
|
^^^ And then if i joined you two for the weekend we could then rule out FMF sex!:slurp: ^^^
Hmmm... the sacrifices i must make for the sake of research!;) |
Wow, thanks for all the volunteers.

I'm a fainter, but only during sex. It's a rather common thing for me. And I think it's the result of being overwhelmed by pleasure, your pulse quickening, your breathing quickening and getting shallow, and not enough air making it to your brain. That's what I really think it is. I'm an asthmatic, so it's a bit more severe with me, but I take medication daily to prevent attacks, and have never had one during sex or a scene. Just relax.. if you pass out, it's your body's way of getting oxygen to your brain, and it's a huge ego-boost for your sweetie. You'll be totally fine, and totally safe.
If, however, you do feel it's a concern, see your doctor. |
