For those who have watched XXX-movies

Have you ever got to the point that you found them so boring that you wanted to turn it right off?

So if you where a dirrector/producer what would you do different? Would it be subject matter, content,....etc

More plot - make it more believable. More continuity - fewer jerky scene changes.

I'm with jseal. I was watching one on cable last night and there were too many of the same shots over and over. I'm not a fan of the extreme close-up that never ends.

more emotion...better acting and better plot. as an after thought, does every scene need to end with a facial?

saw a live sex show in amsterdam and honestly was just as boring after 20 minutes - one guy couldn't even get it up (probably as he'd already done it like 8 times that day)

Certainly plot is lacking in all the recent ones I've seen. And I find it odd that most end in facials or splattering a woman's stomach--I know it is a turn on for some woman but for the majority--ha!

I would like someone to pruduce a long series of XXX along the lines of "Lord of the Rings." Now if I had the capital...willing acctresses and actors, a very good makeup department and a means to market them...I would be in show business

I one time saw one called, "Murder on the Orient Xpress," that actually did have something of a plot and it was enjoyable. Granted it wasn't up to mainstream movies in terms of acting or plot, but it was nice seeing one that was something more than just one sex scene after another.

Ok, well I'm the odd one out again it seems. Plot is the last thing I want to see!!!! Plot gets in the way of the sex, and the SEX is the reason I look at porn! Not for the thrilling drama storyline! [Actually, i admit to sometimes watching porn for the comedy, because some porn is SO BAD it's FUNNY!]

For me, what I want out of porno is genuine, clearly enjoyed sex or erotic situations. That's why I'm so much more a fan of amateur porn than I am of mainstream professional porn - porn with models who are clearly there for the money are a big turn off for me actually.

What I'd do in my own porno? Have a couple that do, genuinely, enjoy being with each other. Give them an hour or two to just do their thing - all the foreplay, the teasing, the sex, the after-play.....
Part of the attraction in porn, in my opinion, is the voyeuristic attraction of Reality TV. Seeing how other couples do it etc.

And I'd bloody do all anal scenes properly - with a ton of lube! My pet hate these days is porn films where the anal is done with not much lube at all, and there's no actual sliding happening - they shove the dick in, and move it around a bit without actually properly sliding in and out. It pisses me off!

Sadly, most movies that are made are for mass consumption. Quickly turn it out and put it on the shelves. And it shows in the quality. But since the market is driven from demand--there must be a lot of people who really don't care.

But certainly they can do a better job. All I can say it has been awhile since I wasted $$$ on seeing a film--there just doesn't seem to be anything out there worth the trouble of getting

Casper hit it right on the head. I like my porn so that it at least seems that the actors are turned on and having fun. I don't need fake dubbed in sounds, moaning or close-ups of orgasm faces.

One of the best I saw was of a pool party. Hustler's Pool Party or something like that. Everyone was hanging out(or sticking straight out actually) and hooking up in the pool, in the hottub, under the umbrellas, on the lounge chairs. It just looked like a blast that happened to be captured on film.

And, definately star in it. Is there anything sexier than seeing yourself on film or photos, except maybe having someone else watch and appreciate you on film!

YES...Back in the early 70's it was chic to go see porn movies in theatres like Pussycat We had seen them all like Deep Throat nd Russ Meyer's movies and after a while I realized that not only was I getting board with them,but was missing out on the other movies at the time like Midnight Cowboy.I finally stopped going.There are no more Pussycat Theatres.I think the video industry killed 'em off.I have copies of Last Tango,Midnight cowboy,Henry and June and an early attempt to film Tropic of Cancer with Rip Torn playing Henry Miller,but I have no porn films.I think for the most part they are too unreal.I would not mind however a collection of amateur ones.Lovediva, would you like to contribute to my budding collection?

Plus the acting always mega sucks, and it ALWAYS bugs me that every chick starring in the movies name is like Peaches, and Candy, and Muffin. Like they're trying to compensate for something by giving themselves names that resemble innocence. Anyways besides that...xxx movies are fun.

they are fun to watch with someone your close with, so you can make fun of them, as a whole they arnt all that erotic, but every now and then there will be that one scene!! yum!
