2.) Today is a day of celebrating but yet I find myself kind of sad.

3.) I have the next two day's off of work. :)

Two more days and I transfer back to the store I oringinally started at after my store closed in May.

~ I leave California and head back to Iowa tomorrow morning.

~ I have been a drinker of black coffee all my life but today I tried something different. It really wasn't that spectacular tasting but it was absolutely the most memorable and best cup of coffee I have had in my life.

~ I'm going to stop at two things.

I fell asleep on the couch and missed chat.

I can't believe it is almost 2am.

I wish I had a slurpee, it's humid here.

I'm going this morning to meet my new GAL little girls (2 & 1) they have already seen 4 different foster situations since February. I never know what to do with girls.


Summer is moving too quickly for my tastes.


I am tired of them putting asparatame (NutraSweet) in every chewing gum on the market. They put BOTH it and sugar to make gum really sweet and extend flavor. Yet they do not have to put it prominently on the packaging. So I have to read 4235238975983749 packs of gum to find one (if I am lucky) without it.

~ Had a doctor tell me something today that I didn't agree with so I told him he was wrong. Now, he may not have been but that's just how I saw it. :blink:

~ Finally decided to just go ahead and ask. I did, got the answer and things are good.

~ Big changes are looming if I can somehow manage them.

1. I'm wondering if I told IowaMan I was coming to visit if he'd be more inclined to pick up the paintbrush. :D

2. I was yelled at (metaphorically) by someone at my doctor's office today, so I guess IowaMan and I have something in common.

3. Tonight, for the first time, I think, in my life, I kind of felt my age.

I've been a very good boy with staying in and doing my art and not spending good money on vices I can hold off on doing and spending it on other tangible things I need and want instead...but the trade off was not going out drinking for almost two weeks since the Fourth of July...and I am so itching to just cut loose for a night!

~ Been having a very tough time sleeping (for quite some time now) and I'm really thinking I may need to see if my doctor can give me something to help. Pretty sure he won't given all of the other meds I'm on right now though.

~ My car got a great wash today from the constant heavy downpour of rain we had most of the morning.

~ About four different times today I've been one click away from spending a lot of money to get started on sort of a hobby that I've really been wanting to do for some time now.

Been sitting here sneezing. No clue what sets me off sometimes. Lost count of how many times I sneezed.

Gotta remember to pick up car fuses tomarrow.

Got the 7-11am stocking shift in the morning.

~ Saw a few old friends today but it wasn't under the most pleasant of circumstances.

~ In about an hour I'm going to turn on the Cubs/Cardinals game and forget about pretty much everything else in the world.

~ I'm trying to tell myself that it's nothing I need to be worried about.
