Yes,There have been several lawsuits for ethanol ruining alum. engines due to the higher heat.So about half the stations went back to real gas.

I know it's wreaking havoc on my 1976 ranchero. Not much I can do about it right now though. I tend to have better results when I buy from BP or Shell though. Those stations also tend to be a bit higher priced.

I bought diesel today

$3.18 in E. Peoria (about 7 miles from here). Still, $3.23 here. :(

I suspect the price of gas also includes the increased demand from the growing prosperity in China and India.

We're down to $3.35, but, the nearby communities are still lower. :(
