I went to my best friend's daughter's first communion today.

I found out that building a bear at the Build A Bear Workshop is a lot more detailed (and expensive) than I had anticipated.

I had a pretty draining weekend but had a lot of fun. Well, from Saturday thru now I had fun, Friday night I'd really like to forget.

Enjoying the afterglow of this past Friday and Saturday's spring cleaning and kitchen appliance upgrading (by way of great sales at the Target down the street from my apartment) binge. It's so good to come home to a cleaned, useless clutter-free apartment.

One more day until I have reached one month without going out, drinking, smoking, general carousing and wenching, etc. My bartender and lounge friends who expect me to show up at the spot like clockwork every Tuesday night must be thinking I'm dead or something.

My Japanese friends who run the show at one good spot I go to often (or USED to go to often) are having half-off all the shochu bottle selections for two weeks starting tomorrow. What a coincidental, low-guilt way to break my month-long booze fasting!

1.) I got my new tag for the car today

2.) Found out we are approved for new apartment, just have to get Mr. Cherry to sign the lease when he comes in.

3.) I'm in a goooooood mood.

My body aches, and so does my head
I just realized that I can "virtually" take classes all summer
I need a new life plan

I could'nt sleep and it was'nt even Abner's fault.
I get to work in town today.
I'm still regretting at having said yes to working out of town for the summer but I won't back out.

I'm really wishing I could be of more help to a friend. I'm pretty sure I'm failing miserably in my attempts to help........... just gotta keep on trying I guess.

My butt has been dragging all day long. A train woke me up after about 2 hours of sleep last night and I was never able to get back to sleep.

Tonight at the kids baseball practice I got in the batting cage and had my buddy throw me a few pitches. First time in about 15 years I've actually faced live pitching like that. Damn, it felt good. :D

--- bonus fact: I can't hit the baseball like I used to be able to but I was able to get a couple of good licks in. :D

Today was a good day - I finally got some shit done

I got some critical feedback, a rejection, and also a little bit of reassurance

It's raining here today so the guys are doing more work on the inside of the house and it's pretty noisy so I may just leave and go take in a matinee.

Waiting to hear back from my folks if my vacation dates will mesh with their schedule.

I woke up horny as all get out today for some reason.

Since I gave up regular coffee, anything with caffeine goes straight to my head. Especially coca-cola. :sad:

I feel your pain my friend. I've been off of caffeine for almost 6 years now and a couple of weeks ago I had a regular Mountain Dew and I thought I was having a seizure or something from the rush. Of course, I had to have another right after I finished. :p

Laced with crack keeps'em coming back. :D

The party was better than I thought - his boss' band played and we danced all night. I am a sucky dancer, though.

I am less motivated than I should be to do the editing on the business plan. It's due by Tuesday.

I'm having a celebratory drink this evening with a friend who just got a promotion.

Kiddo #2 is having friends sleep over and we are planning a cinco de mayo taco free-for all. :D

A couple nights ago I stripped and slipped in to be early wearing nothing but this old tropical smelling lotion. When Mr. Lil came to bed he whispered in my ear, "you smell good enough to eat" and proceeded to ravage me. Today he took me shopping to buy new tropical smelling stuff. :hot:

I twice posted Mr. Lil's real name that the Lost Boys call him when trying to make the above statement :sad:

I am trying to get working on some school stuff that I have been procrastinating on doing all week.

I can't wait to hear from Lake again when he gets home from Cuba tomorrow.

Having a very odd day. Went to get a prescription earlier and on my way home I was sort of drifting off to some music and when I "came to" I didn't recognize where I was at. I've lived in this area for 25 of my 39 years but for about 30 seconds I was legitimately lost and confused. :confused:

I'm wondering if the Queen is wearing a thong to the Kentucky Derby today and whether she brought a golden dildo with diamonds studs along with her to keep her occupied on the flight home.

Just not feeling well at all today. My lungs aren't helping me out, I feel like I'm low on oxygen and I'm running a fever.

Sorry about whining... hoping it will make me feel a bit better. :wish:

Wishing I could remember a recipe for a marinade that I have used in the past for tri-tip. It was absolutely incredible. Slow cooked over charcoal ............ :slurp:

I've been hungry as all get out all day today for some reason. I can't remember if it's feed a fever and starve a cold or the other way around, so I just eat. :D

I hate that at my work I can walk in a week after I was last in and people don't even tell me that one of the biggest character that lives at the home has died. They remembered to tell me 2 new folk moved in, but not that one died.

I feel really guilty for not working yesterday, even though I had reason - they were really busy and I wasn't there to hold my share.

A few friends have really kept my spirits up today, and I love that they could.

I had a wonderful time at coffee today, and was able to see a friend who works wayyyyy to much.

I finished all my ironing! :thumb:

I'm really horny and am making plans to take care of it later on. ;)

Sort of wondering about my contractors today. It was an absolutely beautiful day here yet for some reason they knocked off work at 12:30pm. :confused:

Saw an ex-girlfriend this morning while I was shopping for some groceries. Was from a long time ago..... sort of wish I hadn't seen her.

And I certainly can't omit the fact that my freaking tooth is still killing me. Hopefully they yank the damn thing out soon. I don't care if I end up looking like TV hillbilly and people play banjo music as I walk by them, this thing is driving me crazy and I want it out now!

Due to a spontaneous malfunction of the edit programme at college today, I left college today after spending 3 hours on a machine with more to do than when I went in.

I went shopping for clothes for my holiday to Portugal in July (woohoo!) and spent £50. This got me: 2 pairs of shoes 2 pairs of shorts, 3 t-shirts, 1 pair of pj's and a skirt. My skirt is brilliant and it cost £1.

I am the best. :p

Power washing is loud and destructive - I ruined a house rug cause dirt and grime got under the door.

- Hope my tax return comes this week. I'm sick and tired of being in the hole and I also need to get my new MacBook Pro "fund" revved up.

- Just found out that Pixar's "Ratatouille" is coming out in June. This summer's movie blowout just gets better and better.
