Little micro ones now. They've got them at a local store for about $2.50 per 100 (up .50 from last year), and so we just replace strands that don't light each year rather than search for burned out bulbs.

Trim the tree early versus the week before Christmas

dicksbro 12-08-2005 02:48 PM

I prefer early, but my wife is going slow. :(

Hang the cards you receive or just set them on a table?

bare4you 12-08-2005 05:58 PM

Hang them on a door - but with the advent of e-cards we get fewer and fewer real cards every year

Email Christmas cards or send real ones

dicksbro 12-09-2005 06:28 AM

Both. My wife usually gets the real ones ready and I send e-cards to a number of people who either aren't on that list (because we don't have an address) or as my wife of being a little cuter than my wife would be. :)

Snow for Christmas or not?

jseal 12-11-2005 09:36 AM

Pop popcorn

Last minute shopping versus get it done early.

dicksbro 12-11-2005 11:35 AM

Get it done early (that's me ... my wife waits longer)

Having family over or going to visit them for Christmas?

bare4you 12-11-2005 04:38 PM

Neither - live too far away from the family and with my job can't get the time off to travel and they are too cheap to fly here!

Turkey or ham for Christmas dinner
